Care Welfare and Heartec Sign MOU for Improved Healthcare Access for Hearing Impairments Treatment.

Care Welfare, a leading nonprofit organization providing free medical treatment to the poor and underprivileged in Pakistan, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Heartec Lahore. On October 25, 2023, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to improve access to treatment for patients with hearing impairments. The MOU was signed by Raheel Abbas, Director of Care Welfare; and Dr. Afzal CEO of Heartec, Lahore.

As per the MOU Heartec Lahore, will provide the latest in cochlear implant technology from Advanced Bionic, an FDA-approved American company, to Care Welfare’ deserving and underserved surgical patients. Heartec will also offer free mapping and speech therapy to Care Welfare cases for a year.

Additionally, Heartec will provide Advanced Bionic Cochlear Implant devices to Care Welfare panel hospitals. We are committed to extending life-saving healthcare to underserved communities where access has been a long-standing challenge.

“I am thrilled to be involved with Heartec as together we can bring the miracle of life-changing technology to those who could not otherwise afford treatment. I am grateful to Dr. Afzal for choosing Care Welfare as Heartec’s partner.” – Raheel Abbas, Director, Care Welfare

Through this inspiring partnership, we aim to have a profound impact on the lives of individuals with hearing impairments, enabling them to rediscover the world of sound. This incredible journey of working together will bring the gift of hearing and essential healthcare to those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference!

Since 2014, Care Welfare has been working tirelessly to provide free surgeries and organize free medical camps. With its partnership with Heartec, Care Welfare aims to fight against hearing disabilities among underprivileged communities and continue to provide free treatment to the deserving.
