Care Welfare, a leading nonprofit organization providing free medical treatment to the poor and underprivileged in Pakistan, is pleased to announce a new partnership with PSRD – Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled. On January 4, 2024, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide free orthopedic surgeries to deserving patients.
The MOU was signed by Raheel Abbas, Director of Care Welfare, and Dr. Muhammad Numan Zikriya, Administrator of PSRD, Hospital.
This partnership will allow the Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled to work.
with Care Welfare towards the common goal of improving the underprivileged community’s access to life-changing orthopedic and other general treatments.
With this collaboration, we hope to accomplish the following goals:
- Giving impoverished patients free life-changing orthopedic surgery.
- Lessening the financial strain on families so they can devote funds to other necessary costs.
- One of the main outcomes of the partnership between Care Welfare and PSRD is better access to healthcare for less fortunate people.
“The collaboration with PSRD marks a new high for Care Welfare and its promise to provide free healthcare to people. We needed an orthopedic hospital on our panel and with this partnership, we will be able to facilitate even more people who suffer from musculoskeletal issues. I am hopeful that our work with PSRD will transform lives.” – Raheel Abbas, Director, Care Welfare
This synergistic opportunity will enable both organizations to contribute their skills and expertise for the betterment of underprivileged communities.
Since 2014, Care Welfare has worked tirelessly to provide free surgeries and organize free medical camps. With its partnership with the Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled, Care Welfare aims to work for the common goal of making quality healthcare accessible for those who need it most.
