Care Welfare and IBA, University of Punjab, Join Hands to Improve Access to Healthcare

Care Welfare, a leading non-profit organization that provides free medical and surgical support to underserved communities, stepped into a partnership with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Punjab, on September 30, 2024.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Prof. Dr. Muqaddas Rehman, Director at IBA, University of Punjab, and Mr. Raheel Abbas, Director of Operations at Care Welfare. Under this MoU, the two organizations will adopt a collaborative approach to improve access to quality healthcare with active support from students.

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Punjab, will encourage its students to actively participate in Care Welfare’ healthcare initiatives. The students can engage in these initiatives through internships, community outreach programs, and other opportunities available to volunteers. This hands-on engagement will enable students to gain practical experience while making meaningful contributions to Care Welfare’ mission.

Care Welfare will collaborate with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Punjab, in arranging training sessions for IBA students. Furthermore, IBA will support Care Welfare’ fundraising efforts and both organizations will collaborate to organize medical camps.

With every new partnership, Care Welfare is able to provide essential surgical and medical care to numerous deserving patients across the country.
